Concept redesign: credibility-first for a local plumber with no website

The challenge

The business relied entirely on word of mouth. No website meant losing high-intent customers searching "plumber near me" on mobile. Those who found a number had no way to assess credibility before calling - no reviews, no accreditations, no portfolio of work.

Our approach

Speculative redesign with the phone number as the primary hero CTA - non-negotiable for urgent mobile traffic. Trust bar with Gas Safe and NICEIC accreditation logos. Before/after job photography. Google review feed showing real ratings. The editorial aesthetic signals "serious professional" in a sector full of identical template sites.
